Struisies excell in Olympiad

The Struisies who took part in the English Olympiad. Photo supplied  46 learners from Oudtshoorn High School took part in the English Olympiad of 2017 and have done so with great success. The results were as follows: Gold for Lisa Victor; silver for Vicky Dreyer, Bianca Nel, Nicky Stols, Kerrighan Aries, Clarissa Saaiman, Amber Malgas and Gaby Brits; bronze for Nasia Davids, Caithlin Bruintjies, Chris vd Walt, Vanya Dreyer, Lolla Jonker, Sadika Nait-Saidi, Fatiema Esa, Leandré Gilbert, Keelin Muller, Charisa Steyn, Danielle Cairncross,  Kabelo Motubatse, Kiara du Toit, Karyn Engelbrecht, Jason Jenkinson, Rochelle Schoeman, Kaydé Lewis, Giané Laubscher, Lara vd Walt, Dilanthé Apollis, Sibongile Shabalala and Inge Swart. Merit awards went to  Marle-Zanne Barnard, Laureka Wallace, Ihanté Coetzee, Elmé Botha, Miriam Joubert, Mareike Steyn, Hanro Lareman, Luzaan Swiegelaar, Cha-url Paulsen, Antonio van Briesies, Navan Beukes, Penelope Titus, Sofie Heller, Miné Graaff and Khanya Mwati. Owethu Konza was recognised for participation.
